Ken Harris

Attorney

Ken was born and raised in Charlotte along with his eight brothers and sisters. Ken graduated from Duke University with his B.A. in 1994 and his J.D. in 2002. Ken has been licensed to practice law since 2002.

Prior to becoming a family lawyer, he was a Juvenile Defense Attorney at the Council for Children’s Rights in Charlotte. For almost a decade, Ken represented children under 16 accused of crimes, children in mental health proceedings, or advocated for juvenile rights through our legislature and community groups.

Ken’s current practice focuses exclusively on representing individuals and families, in Mecklenburg County and surrounding areas, with divorce, child custody, child support, postseparation support, alimony, equitable distribution, and domestic violence cases.

When Ken is not working, he loves reading and spending some not-so-quiet time with his wife, Sarah, their five children, and two dogs.
